Now I know how [livejournal.com profile] minxy_baby must have felt last month... It's like I am living the movie 'Primary Colors' pimping out my dog for a few dog cookies and some votes. For me it is all about the bragging rights, since Dixie is going to score cookies no matter what because I keep going to the cookie bar at Petco every other week. Still, it's kind of fun to watch the votes come in (slowly, but so far she is doing good and ti is only day one).

Anyway, I'll try to keep the begging for votes to a minimum - but if you are so inclined, feel free to throw a shout out in your journals so that your friends might throw her a bone (pun intended). For example, if [livejournal.com profile] hofmannison was feeling it he could spread the word in his Star Wars communities (her name was Yoda for a day until we realized she was a female dog - just look at those ears).

lol The sympathy card doesn't work on me anyways. I will give you each a vote. One from home, and one from work. I love all animals so any decision would be tough. I am not voting blind because I will vote on the dogs & the owners that I know.

You will hear all sorts of nonsense as I did when Vicki was running. People like to talk shit because hey, the cutest poochy is a tough business to be in! lol Good luck to you & Dixie! I have to root for Tiger too, but I am sure one of you will win. :D

I think a lot of people are going to be entering this contest now. It is going to keep growing like a wild fire. It's good for the bakery company.

I doubt I'll hear much smack talking... But only time will tell.

heh heh I hope not. When LJ friends posted in their journals, their friends would say all kinds of stupid things. It's best just to ignore it if you do see it. I think the contest is better when it's low key. Save the big push till near the end.
