Aug. 7th, 2006 09:25 amSo the weekend was mostly uneventful with things done around the house sprinkled with some shopping. All weekend I was awake by 6:30am, which I guess could count as sleeping in when you wake up around 5ish, but it would have been nice to sleep until 7:00 or 7:30.
I washed windows, picked up here and there, and cleaned a closet or two. I think we're going to have a garage/yard sale on Saturday - Mindy had over seven bags of clothes she pulled out of her closet, and we have a lot of Emily's clothes that would sell as well. On one hand, it would clear out a lot of extra stuff we don't need to keep, and on the other hand it'll give us some money to buy stuff for the baby - it's a win/win situation! For those of you who are local and may be interested in some great deals, please comment with your email address and I'll email you directions and times for our sale.
I watched the latest episode of Feasting on Asphalt - good stuff! They stopped at this place in NC that does BBQ and there was a thunder storm going on in the background that was just too cool. Alton ate a deep fried Brain Sandwich (BLECH!) and Burgoo (that sounds just yummy). We also watched a couple rentals this weekend, The Shaggy Dog (with Tim Allen) and Final Destination 3. I admit I, I liked the Shaggy Dog (there is a frenchie in it!), and FD3 was just 'eh', but quite gory. I missed hearing John Denver playing in the background though.
To cap off the evening our realtor came over and planted the sign in our front yard. The photos and the listing should be appearing on MLS anytime now and once it is there I will post links for all of you to see.
