1. What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before?
I traveled to Salt Lake City and Miami/Fort Lauderdale.

2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn't really make any in 2005, but I am going to have a few in 2006.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Nope.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Not yet... But the year isn't over yet!

5. What countries did you visit?
Utah counts as another planet, right?.

6. What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?
Better health and more pay.

7. What date(s) from 2005 will remain etched your memory, and why?
Christmas morning will be there. Watching Emily go through her presents, the excitement on her face, hearing her sing 'Santa Claus is Coming to Town', it was so much fun!

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I was promoted from the CFS call center to SNP Quality in one of the fastest transitions achieved at Amex (according to my former Team Leader it was pretty darn fast).

9. What was your biggest failure?
Having conflicts with my new manager and whining about it instead of solving the problem.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I had what seemed like the flu for three days, but that was about it.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
We bought Mindy her new Saturn Vue.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Senator Murtha of Pennsylvania.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Bill O'Riley.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Mortgage, Car Payments and Child Care.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Book Six of the Harry Potter series!

16. What song(s) will always remind you of 2005?
She Will Be Loved by Maroon 5.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
I. happier or sadder?
I would have to say, all things being equal, I am happier.

II. thinner or fatter?
About the same... Ask me the same question next year!

III. richer or poorer?
About the same.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Dieting and Exercise.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Dining out at restaurants.

20. Any new hobbies/interests?
Nothing new. However, in 2006 I plan on taking a course in painting and will start expressing my creativity.

21. How will you be spending New Year's Eve?
Mindy, Emily and I will be heading over to our friend's Kristen and Bert's new apartment.

22. Did you fall in love in 2005?
Yeah, I did.

23. How many one-night stands?
I don't believe in one-night-stands. I like prolonged relationships that develop into friendship.

24. What was your favorite TV program?
Smallville and Family Guy.

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
I try not to hate, as it is a very strong emotion. I prefer to dislike immensely.

26. What was the best book you read?
HP:OotP! Well, that and Fight Club.

27. What was/were your greatest musical discoveries?
I re-discovered Mama Cass and The Monkees in 2005. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed their music.

28. What did you want and get?
I wanted to pay off my student loans because I 'disliked immensely' Wells Fargo. After the refi, I did just that!

30. What was your favorite film of this year?
Batman Begins. That film is going to re-invigorate the DC Comic movement toward film. Next year - Superman Returns! Oh yeah!

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I hit the big 35 this year. I spent it in Miami, than in the air on my way back home.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Hitting the lottery - but that wasn't possible in 2005. It will be in 2006 though.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2005?
Jeans and tennis shoes!

34. What kept you sane?
Emily, Dixie, my Journal and Egg Nog.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Secretly, I kinda dig Jessica Simpson...

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
Gay Marriage.

37. Who did you miss?
My nephew.

38. Who was the best new person you met?
Our new friends Kristen & Bert.

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2005:
"Keep your mouth shut!"
