Last night I was chatting with three folks at the same time.  From those conversations I have three thoughts that are still with me today:

1 - Lizard Cam Rocks!

2 - Sometimes you need to live in the moment and take a chance.  It can seriously alter the course of your life.

3 - Some problems in life are universal, or at least there are people dealing with the very same stresses that you are, so never feel alone - someone else can copmpletely relate to your situation if you let them.

Amusing/Disturbing Email

My buddy Dave had sent me an email the other day and I found it quite amusing and disturbing at the same time.

Here we are in the weeks following Hurricane Katrina (with Ophelia off the coast of NC and our skies are overcast today in the Triad) and people are still pulling together food, supplies, money and other donations. I am reading quotes from NOLA PD saying they understand how NYPD and FDNY felt after 9/11 - and in my email box is a video clip from MSNBC showing the looting of a Wal-Mart with POLICE OFFICERS LOOTING AS WELL!
