payne_n_diazThere was a time, and in many ways it is still true today, that I had a thing for what I used to describe as 'The Sexy Geek'.
It started with Sara Jessica Parker in Square Pegs.
It intensified with Kennedy on MTV.
It crescendoed with Lisa Loeb and the song Stay.
It resurfaced with Meredith and her cool glasses and mary janes in the mailroom at LA Cellular/AT&T Wireless.
It peaked with the ultra geek (and oh so sexy) Monique Powell from the band Save Ferris.
Than it was gone. That is until Lisa reared her sexy geekness on my Yahoo LAUNCHcast. Mmmmm...
What the world needs now is geek, sweet geek!
