One of my favorite movies of all time is Blazing Saddles. I simply LOVE that movie. Of course, you could NEVER make a movie like that in today's PC society, which is perhaps why I love it so. Anyway, I always wondered about the song at the end of the movie...

"Throw out you hands, stick out your tush, hands on your hips, give'em a push, you'll be surprised you're doing The French Mistake. Viola!"

Okay, here is the thing that I am curious about... Obviously the action in the song seem to suggest something of a, um, lewd nature. But where does the term French Mistake come from? Clue me in people...

From what I understand of history, French prostitutes were commonly thought to have "pox" or some kind of VD.

That movie was the best. Richard Pryor (RIP) wrote most of the racial humor in that movie.

WHERE ALL THE WHITE WOMEN AT!?!!
