I have started my Christmas wrapping of Mindy's gifts. So far, I count a total of fifteen gifts to get wrapped and ready for placement under the tree for her. It would have been seventeen, but the SpotBot and mini chopper were sacrificed so that the others might make it under the tree. I am sure she'll be happy at the numbers, but as always I worry that she may not like what I got her. Than again, it's the thought that counts, right?

This year all presents will be placed after Emily goes to bed on Christmas Eve, and it is very possible that this will become our Christmas Tradition (until some yutz tries to destroy Emily's innocense by trying to tell her there is no Santa Claus). There is just something magical about going to bed with a barren tree and waking up to a glorious Christmas tree filled with presents.

Holy cow.. 15 gifts? I haven't had that many gifts just for me since I was probably about 6 or 7. You must spoil Mindy rotten :)

We have always put all the gifts that come from family members under the tree as they come in. Being that all my family is NC.. everything gets mailed to us up here in NY. Then "santa" gifts are put under the tree xmas night. This year though seeing how Aiden ripped right into his birthday gifts just a month ago.. I knew there was no way the gifts would survive. (speaking of surviving.. the poor tree is looking pretty shaggy cause little fingers can't keep off of it).. So everything that has been coming in has been hidden and it will all be put out xmas night. Kind of sad seeing such a bare tree so close to christmas.

We always did that too. My sister and I saw no presents until Christmas morning when they were ALL over the place. But, I think that my parents did put out the gifts that they were giving to eachother and to other people.

We still do that... All my presents are from Santa on the card and they're all laid out when I get to mom's in the morning. I'm so spoiled!

AND, speaking of spoiled, *15* gifts?!?! Mindy is a lucky girl.
