You Can't Time The Market

My Ballard Power (BLDP) jumped today. It had hit over $12.00 and I figured if it stayed true to form it would creep back down, especially since I found ZERO news about why it was shooting up. It made no sense. So I sold it at $12.05. Not 20 minutes later and it shot up higher, to like $12.50. I figured, oh well, I bailed too soon. A little later I checked it again and it had hit a high of $13.12! Darn it... But hey, at least I ended up with a $500 profit!

Date: 2006-04-24 07:01 pm (UTC)It's like when you are playing some slots in Vega$, and you are losing... you get up and go to a different machine, and then some blue haired granny comes up the the "losing" machine you were just on, drops in $10 and hits it for like $1200.
That happened to me once. My rule after that was, if I change machines, to go to an entirely different row... I don't wanna see someone hit it, and know that if I made 3 or 4 more pulls, I woulda won!
