payne_n_diazThey are giving away tickets for the Wake/Elon basketball game for this Saturday tomorrow, since Amex is one of the sponsors of the Greensboro Coliseum. It says we could get up to five tickets (I don't know how many people will show up for free tickets, but maybe I should look into getting some). I can think of at least ONE person on my friends list who would want to go, but she always gets free tickets to the games... I wonder if she'd want to drive all the way to Greensboro to see the Deacons kick some small college teams bootie.
I'll have to see what happens tomorrow, cause if there is a long line by 12 noon, I don't think I'll be getting any tickets. Maybe if I camp out at the ticket counter I could score some! Yeah, I'll bring a tent and a lawn chair to work tomorrow morning. (Yeah, that'll go over well!)

Date: 2005-12-02 01:02 am (UTC)I was at lunch today with my sister who turned 40 today, and some friends. One of our friends was in NC over the holiday weekend. Guess what city she was in? Thats right, Kernersville. She has family down in your part of the country and they had a blast!
